I do not know if my dog ate chocolate, and she is acting a little weird. What should I do?
I fell asleep last night while He eats a bit of dark chocolate I found in my Easter basket. I woke up at 8 am my dog coughing and hacking, standing next to my basket. I checked the teeth and saw that he had been chewing on a container, but I'm not sure if it was a wrap last night or eating chocolate, and if so how much he had before I woke up. She is panting and breathing heavily, and staring wide-eyed at me, but I'm not sure if that's because she is hot as a reaction to chocolate, or just pick up on my panic. It was about an hour and a half now, I have take to the vet or just wait? I hate myself if my stupidity killed my best friend. definitely take her to the vet. try to find out what is happening to your dog. explain the story to the vet.
