Picnic recipes for wedding reception??
I have an informal outdoor wedding and small in a plantation bed and breakfast in May. I do the cooking myself, and I'm thinking of making individual picnic baskets for each guest. I want that food is a little more special luncheon or just a little old fashioned in the south .... Preview the menu - Rib / w mini first radish in May. Shaving buns Garden southern fried chicken pasta salad sliced cucumbers and onions Caldera style Sandies Chocolate Chip Cookies cupcake wedding cake alternative Any comments or ideas would be appreciated. Note that must be able to be individually wrapped and packed in boxes. You should not need cold, and should be easy to eat outdoors.
We had a field day our wedding in England, but we had a catering service for each "table" so that 10 people (all seated on blankets in one part of a park meadowy central London) who shared a basket. No food was wasted and everyone had a great time ...... I have no hand menu, but I can e-mail , Or I'll find and post it here.
