Chocolate Princess

The older I am more determined not to have to solve. When I was young, you can always select the most expensive item in a shop, at least that's what my mother says. Not much has changed in 50 years. My desire for quality has simply become more aware of quality.

Although I I was not born with a silver spoon that never left my mind. Sure, over the years, I had to go in time. For example, while possessing a old Mercedes Benz, but at least one property. I say owned because I did not take long to realize that the repair bills were higher in my Benz just by name.

My taste in clothes is very similar. I have been happily ensconced in the fashion police club. I fondly recall the years I spent working for Chase Manhattan Bank in the executive wing in Tampa, Florida, before it merged with JP Morgan. There were three of us hanging together. We rate the way other employees were dressed and at times was very bad. They were not cruel or rude, just laughed quietly at lunch.

I also remember very well a visit from my younger brother, Stephen, to Atlanta, Georgia. I met him at the airport in Tampa and when I turned to see for the first time in six years, said: "Wow SIS, are gorgeous! "That made my millennium with confidence!

My taste for good wine and food is no different to my taste for anything else. They can not drink $ 100 bottles of wine every night, but I enjoyed a few. And then there's the chocolate, my one true vice.

I have a real love / hate relationship with chocolate. I love when it's dark, creamy and rich but as for my hips, and I think I understand. I've eaten all the best chocolate you can name, Ghirardelli Godiva ® ®, from Switzerland to Belgium. However, it was not until early 2006 that discovered the absolutely, without a doubt the most fabulous chocolate could never imagine.

The bakery I found it always fulfilled my fantasy of chocolate is about 12 kilometers south of Los Angeles in Whittier, California. My Little Taste of Italy is owned by Gloria Monte and his daughter, Liz. Since my first order from chocolate chip, chocolate dipped biscotti I was hooked. Then, in late Liz last year came up with a recipe for cappuccino brownies out of this world! They are so rich and creamy Jan Verhoeff, one of their most loyal customers, have been called to reason, "Orgasmic!" I have yet to prove Bada Bing chocolate bundt cake, but it has my favorite ingredient in what I know will not be long time before it too goes through my quivering lips.

I do not know what his secret, but I, for one, am certainly glad you found it. Gloria has informed me that My Little Taste of Italy uses the authentic Italian chocolate in all its chocolate candies. I do not know what else to do that makes them sooo delicious but whatever it is that I hope you never quit. It is strange to me that gaining a reputation all its delights, not only in America but abroad too.

Mama Gloria, like Mrs. del Monte is known, is working on several taste sensations for the upcoming holidays. She tells me that have developed two new flavors of cookies and a Florentine cookie again she calls "Hot Mama." I wonder what that secret ingredient is.

• June - Cappaccino Brownies (10) - Treat your dad to your favorites coffee and chocolate. Happy Fathers Day!

• July - Angelina - "In Italian wedding tray (2 dozen). A tribute to the reception Elizabeth's wedding, where the "Angelina" was lovely piled on trays.

• August - Thumbprint Cookies (2 dozen), as footprints in the sand, our own fingerprint held a spoonful of jam. Happy last days of summer!

• September - Chocolate / Blackberry Muffins (Box 4) Touching the last of the summer fruits, mixed with chocolate. End of summer blues!

• October - Old World Florentine cookies (2 Doz) - Perfect fall colors with the crunch of fallen leaves.

• November - Muffins White Wine (Case of 4) Break with autumn spices.

• December - Fiori D'Elisa snowball Our butter as a tribute to Tony and Colly D'Elisa, our parents and grandparents.

Now I'm sure you can see that this is the cat's meow! A feast for the prince or princess in you.
