Is it appropriate to send a thank you card?
Over the weekend, the mother of my boyfriend sent me Easter chocolates, along with a very sweet note. His mother has sent me bags of chocolate in the past for Halloween, Christmas, etc, but this time she sent me a very expensive, large box of Lindt chocolates. My boyfriend assured me a note of thanks was not necessary, but I feel like if I write a letter. I mailed her only or if I sent the note to my boyfriend when he goes to visit her on Sunday? Thanks!
She is indeed very serious. Send a note of thanks good conversationalist, adding something like, "I hope you had an Easter wonderful and we would love to meet soon. "This will go a long way with it, I'm sure. The people I know love to do things in the mail these days, addition to their accounts. I can save all the little notes sent me, and with time to appreciate more.
